Took a Sociology course and learned about the interesting and very complex ways in which humans interact and exist. Learned about many social experiments famously conducted in the past as well as how we can apply these observations to our own lives.

Took "Art Society & Conflict" I was able to visit cultural hubs in Miami with my professor and classmates as part of our lectures. I was also able to volunteer with the Deering Estate to preserve their nature exhibits. The course taught us about art and how our society has both helped and hindered it.

Took "The Political Cycle" where I learned about the intricate nature of our government. How I can truly make a change in my own society, and country as a whole. This included a "Senate simulation" where I worked as a sitting US Senator voting on legislation.

Took "Miami Politics" and dove deeply into the history of how Miami was built and the cost paid by the native Miami inhabitants. Also, how we can see change in our local communities that doesnt require any help from the national government.
