I had the honor of serving as a constituent services and immigration intern for United States Senator Marco Rubio. During my time as an intern I was able to assist in a multitude of services to members of my community. My favorite experience while serving as an intern was the ability to be of service to someone who feels they have run out of options. Whether its was helping someone get a loved one out of detainment in a foreign country or helping to map out terrorist groups around the world, my capstone experience truly made a more globally aware citizen and professional.
